Convocation SCSU Spring 2011

Convocation: Friday, April 1, 2011
We have lots of different shows happening here, thanks to the Music Department. Today we had a wonder show.
The show started with Dr. Terry Vermillion (chair) addressing the topic and title of the events.

Getting the stage ready up for Dr. Terry and his wonderful skills.

Miss Ann Pankratz Klinkner modeest with her flute.

The fusion of Sarabande and Bourree Anglaise (J.S. Bach).

I used to be huge flute fan. Infact I still have one from Nepal. I remember how smooth the sound of the music really is.

Here comes, the piano.

Joseph Caswell, age 7 was the real hero of the show.

Performing, Prelude and fugue. BWV 846 o.1 in C major (J.S. Bach).

Students busy filming and taking pictures of this talented young man.

Gentle man or humble, he did a great job on his Piano Sonata No.17 in Bflat major, K.570 (W.A. Mozart).

Standing ovation and attendees discussing, how good Joseph's Nocturne No. 20 in C sharp minor, Op. posth (Frederic Chopin).

Busy with his final and impressive skills playing Toccata Op. 15 (Robert Muczynski).
Unfortunately, this was his last performance, but we could all see the mixed feelings this one little person had over every one twice/trice his age and size.
Honestly, we got nothing one him (if he was a music gangster).

The star of the show was very tired after his last performance.

Joseph Caswell, humble, good and talented in his own respect and no-doubt earned the respect of everyone who were there smiling and watching his magic fingers roll.
